The Women's Visionary Congress is a benefit for the V Fund which awards grants to visionary woman healers, scholars, researchers and artists. The V Fund was created in 2008 to support the work of women who effectivley apply knowledge they have gained from visionary insights. The Fund is managed by the Women's Visionary Council, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

The Women's Visionary Council recognizes that women arrive at visionary experiences in different ways. Deep insights can be reached through inner reflection, meditation, music, prayer, dance, love, art, psychedelic substances, encounters with the natural world and other catalysts that bring us closer to divine inspiration.

After the moment of clarity has passed, the challenge is how to sustain and manifest that vision. The V Fund honors wise, trailblazing women who use this knowledge to heal and strengthen their communities and the larger world around them.

The Women's Visionary Council invites others who value this work to donate financially, or simply take time to acknowledge the important contributions of our contemporary wise women.

We honor these women with a passage from the chants of Maria Sabina, a Mazatec curandera and a woman of great moral and spiritual power who spent a lifetime working with healing plants.

She is a woman of the day
She is a clean woman
She is a well-prepared woman
She is a woman of light
She is a woman of the day

Because I am a woman who lightnings
I am a woman who thunders
I am a woman who shouts
I am a woman who whistles
I am a woman who looks
into the insides of things
