The Women's Visionary Congress (WVC) is a gathering of healers,
scholars, activists, artists, and botanists who study consciousness
and altered states. The WVC supports the transfer of knowledge among
people who apply the insights of these investigations. We gather
annually on beautiful land in Northern California to hear from this
community of explorers. We also hold one-day salons in cities around
North America. People of all genders are welcome to attend our events.
The seventh annual Women's Visionary Congress will take place from
June 14 - 16, 2013 at the
Institute of
Noetic Sciences (IONS)
Earthrise Retreat Center, near Petaluma, California. The WVC welcomes
you to join us as we gather, eat delicious food and participate in a
series of conversations with wise women and other visionaries. WVC
2013 presenters include Brad Burge, Valerie Corral, Bruce Damer,
Yalila Espinoza, Shonagh Home, Beatriz Labate, Mariavittoria Mangini,
Ralph Metzner, Lakshmi Narayan, Annie Oak, Nicki Scully, Diana
Slattery, Zara Snapp, and Jane Straight. Here are biographies of
the 2013 WVC
Presenters.
The theme of the 2013 WVC is "Trouble and Resilience." We will explore
how the cultivation of expanded consciousness helps us become more
resilient to adversity. The WVC recognizes that deep insights can be
reached through meditation, prayer, movement, ritual, mind altering
substances, encounters with the natural world and other experiences
that bring us closer to the wonder of creation.
The Women's Congress is a benefit for the WVC Fund that makes grants
to support the work of visionary women.
Tickets
are $350 which
